APMP Mock Examination


The Association for Project Management (APM) is the only UK-based organisation dedicated to the professional development and promotion of project management. It has over 17,500 individual and 500 corporate members throughout the UK and abroad. APM qualifications are stand alone awards designed to meet the needs of project staff at different stages in their professional development. Based on the APM Body of Knowledge, the APMP professional qualification is the highest knowledge based qualification awarded by the APM.




Mock Exam Overview

The 3-hour APMP mock exam is conducted in the morning under simulated exam conditions. The afternoon session is used to mark the candidates paper, understand the lessons learnt and prepare for the formal APMP exam.

The event is designed for candidates who have completed the APMP course and wish to assess their readiness for the formal APMP examination.

Mock Exam Structure

The 3-hour written mock exam consists of questions designed to test the candidate’s depth of knowledge of all aspects of project management and the project life cycle including the content, application and benefits of the underpinning techniques. Delegates are required to answer 10 essay-style questions from a possible 16.

The mock examination fee per candidate is £278 VAT.


The fee includes mock examination paper, markers guidelines and indicative examination answers, lunch, tea, coffee and refreshment for the one days event.
